The place was exactly what we were look for.. very well located, close to Atocha train station (15 mins walking), very close (walking) to La Gran via, Centro de Bella’s artes, museo el Prado, Museo reina Sofía, parque el retiro, puerta de Alcalá, catedral de Almudena, mercado de San Miguel .. among some many other nice places to visit. Thanks Adrian for your hospitality, our stay was very pleasant! . Room is like photos, very basic but very clean, clean towels every day, they cleaned the room every day. Adrian was very kind allowing us to leave the luggage after our check out as we had a late train to Barcelona. We had a great time in Madrid !

Very well located, easy walking distance to the metro and many of the main sights. Friendly staff. Very clean, which is an absolute must! I was in room 7, it had a small balcony and I loved being able to open the doors for some fresh (still very warm!) air at night. Air conditioner worked fine. I think the bed was comfortable - I was pretty tired by the end of each day so I didn’t think about it. There is a lift! Saved my feet after walking all over Madrid. I had to check out very early in the morning and it was very easy. Recommended for solo travellers and/or those on a budget who want something simple and central.

Location is great in the Letras neighhood. Chic, Bohemian neighhood with lots of cool shops, cafes, bakeries and restaurants. Walking distance to all major sites and Atocha train station. Our corner room had two balconies! Enjoyed the view of the neighborhood from our room. Quiet at night. Everything in the room worked, bathroom shower and drain and sink drain. Had hand soap and T P.. Closet helped to keep our luggage off the floor and gave us a bit more room to move. Elevator is great. The hostal is on upper floor. AC worked.

They made us wait 15 minutes for check ın despite the fact that we room supposed to be ready at that time as stated in the bookings check in hours. Overall old building and below average rooms but after all it was reasonably priced at the time we booked. No complains there. We needed two separate single beds and a private bathroom and this place was one of the budget friendly option there was. Stuff was a bit rude or uncaring but there wasn’t any big issues whatsoever. For budget travelers it can be a good choice

The place was clean and tidy, the staff was friendly and helpful. I arrived and I had to wait a little bit for them to finish cleaning the room, which was totally fine and I was happy to do it. I left my bags there while i went for a quick walk and the lady took my bags to the room once she was done. The room was tiny but perfect for one person. I also asked information on how to get to the hotel at an ungodly hour and they helped me with my request. Recommend this!
